The Belgian was not also among the first team under21 stars who played against Chelsea in a 1-1 draw on Monday. Adnan januzaj has joined other team mates who are yet to recover from injury.
Januzaj has struggled to establish himself at Old Trafford since returning from a unsuccessful loan spell at Borussia Dortmund in the first half of the season.
United cut short his move at the beginning of January but since then Januzaj has played just 14 minutes for the first team.
