29,000 FBI FILES LINKED TO A BRITISH SCHOOL BOY HACKER

The 15-year-old, arrested in Glasgow on Tuesday, is thought to be part of a wider hacking network dubbed 'Crackas with Attitude'

A British schoolboy being suspected to have hacked the FBI could be linked to the leaking of 29,000 US government employee files to the web.

The 15-year-old was arrested over alleged computer crimes by detectives acting on behalf of the FBI.

It is thought the teenager is being investigated for a huge breach of security on US federal websites last week,

Last week, details of 20,000 FBI and 9000 Homeland Security staff were dumped on the web from a Department of Justice computer.A hacking collective dubbed Crackas With Attitude were later linked to the attack. Friends say alleged leader Cracka was arrested over the hack and is currently on police bail. The Record understands that Cracka is the 16-year-old arrested by Thames Valley police last week and he is also linked to hacking a high-ranking CIA official’s email account last October. His followers admitted Cracka had been “v&” (vanned) – a term that means arrested. But a CWA Twitter user named DotGovs published the stolen files before his account was shut down. He re-emerged with the name DotGovz and boasted about his part in the cyber attack. He told followers he “f *** in loves hacking govs” and “the feds probably already know my ID”. Addressing the FBI, he said: “You can take down deez sites but there will always be the leak.” When followers said he could be arrested, he insisted: “I’m not going to prison for that long. “Turning myself in would make the feds look stupid but it would also make me look stupid.” Referring to extradition to the US, he added: “They wont. I am valuable to my country. “My country will not export me... My life will never be f ***ed... No rules apply to me.” Accounts linked DotGovz have been inactive since the schoolboy was arrested. A pal affiliated with CWA wrote: “Well, I’m officially the last Crackas With Attitude member not raided.”
